Eva Spagna

The Florentine Eva Spagna initially studied art history after having trained to become a ballet dancer. In 1995 she came to Berlin where her passion for singing became her profession. She has since worked with various jazz musicians, such as Giorgio Crobu, Manfred Dierkes, Christian von der Goltz and Thorsten Zwingenberger, in a number of different formations.
The intense memories of the canzoni italiane of her youth led her to found the group e la luna..? in 1997, with Holger Schliestedt and Martin Klenk.  She writes the lyrics for the bands own compositions, largely about personal feelings.
